This is a box full of 10 robust, organically and sustainably-grown sunflower plant starts to fill your own cutting garden at home. Plants come in 100% biodegradable cow pots that ensure a large and healthy root ball. This mix of plants includes both branching and single stem variety sunflowers you can’t get unless you grow them from seed yourself. Full planting instructions come with the purchase of the plants so you’ll know exactly how to plant and care for these beauties.

All plants are grown from seeds by Bush Poppy Farm in our greenhouse using only organic and regenerative practices so that they are robust and ready to go right into your planting beds. The exact mix of plants in the collection will be determined each spring once we see how everything germinates, but all will be good for sun/part-sun and average soil conditions. Just be sure to plant them somewhere deer cannot get at them as those cuties find these flowers a delicacy.

Sunflower varieties vary from year to year based on what thrives as we sow our seeds each spring. Boxes may not all be identical. Since we are growing these plants for you from seed that may not produce as planned, Bush Poppy Farm reserves the right to substitute varieties as needed.

The collection comes in 3”cow pots, the perfect size for planting straight into the garden. All plants are grown using only organic nutrients and sustainable practices. Plants will be hardened off so you can plant immediately into your garden without any additional care.

SHIPPING IS NOT AVAILABLE.

Plants will be ready for pick up from one of two locations in mid-May when the spring weather becomes stable enough for planting straight into the garden. You will receive an email with the pick up details in early May once we see how the spring weather is unfolding. Pick up will take place at either the home farm (70 Moraga Via in Orinda), or at our Lafayette CSA location (Creekside Commons). You can select your choice when ordering.

No refunds are available once your order has been placed. We spend several months growing these plants and put them on reserve once you've placed your order. Therefore we can not offer any refunds if you are unable to pick up your plants for any reason.

Once again, please note that shipping is NOT AVAILABLE for these plant shares. You will need to pick them up at one of the two specified locations.
