Flower CSA
What is a CSA?
CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture. So when you participate in a CSA, you are helping the farm and the farmers grow and succeed. You have a hand in their success. As a new farm, every dollar raised through our CSA subscriptions will go back into the farm to grow our offerings for next season, as well as to purchase much needed equipment and eventually, to expand to more land.
We offer four seasonal CSA subscriptions: First Rites of Spring, Spring, Summer and Fall. Each membership gets you a fresh, hand grown, hand picked bouquet each week during the subscription period. Please read our Terms of Service and FAQs below to understand all the details. We offer multiple pick up locations in the Lamorinda Area. Pick up days and times vary by location. Be sure to chose the one that works best for you. All bouquets are lush, hand tied bunches wrapped in stamped brown paper, perfect for your favorite vase or for gift giving.
As an additional bonus for our CSA members, you will enjoy 15% off all workshops during the season you are signed up as a member. If you purchase just one of our subscriptions, you are a member for the full season. Check out our workshop page for all the offerings you could take advantage of.

“Our friend gifted us the spring season for Christmas and the flower deliveries have been such a bright spot each week! The bouquets are always super fresh and absolutely beautiful. I love that each bouquet is unique and we get a week plus out of most of the flowers. Heather sends e-mail communication that includes clear reminders, as well as a sneak peek of what to expect in our bouquet. Highly recommend as a wonderful gift for a friend... or to yourself!”

“I treated myself to the biweekly flower CSA and I have not been disappointed! Heather delivers fresh, beautiful flowers to my door every two weeks, and they are stunning, fragrant, and long lasting. Communication with Heather is easy if I ever have to change anything and she answers any questions I may have. I love getting flowers locally and supporting a small business. I will be returning. If you're on the fence, do not hesitate to try Bush Poppy Farm! Highly recommend!”
Terms of Service and FAQ
What is a CSA?
CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture. When you participate in a CSA, you are helping the growers as well as yourself. Pricing is usually much better than stores and you directly help the grower with their farm. By purchasing one of our CSA subscriptions, you are getting a share of the flower crop for that season. We are raising money to purchase or rent more land so that we can expand our flower offerings to you. Your CSA Subscriptions are the backbone of that endeavor.
When will I receive my flowers?
Depending on which pick up location you select, your bouquets will be available on either Tuesdays or Wednesdays.
What if I go on vacation?
If you are going on holiday, as many do, we ask that you arrange for someone else to receive your blooms while you're away. Perhaps a pet sitter or family friend would enjoy your bouquet that week.
Can I specify which flowers I want in my weekly bouquets?
As we are a micro farm we have very specific flowers blooming each week. We cannot accommodate custom orders or requests at this time. Your bouquet will be filled with seasonal flowers so you get a taste of what is growing right now. In the future, as the farm grows in space, we can more easily manage custom orders. We’ll keep you posted!
Can I buy a CSA Membership for someone else as a gift?
Most definitely! It’s a wonderful gift! Please be sure they read and understand the Terms of Service and then register with their information, and let us know it's a gift in the registration form.
Can I cancel my CSA Membership and get a refund?
Our CSA Subscriptions are the life blood of our farm. We rely on this revenue to keep the farm running (deal with unpredictable weather, pests, etc.) and grow for the future. But we do understand that life happens. Refunds for the 2023 season are available up to one week after purchasing your CSA Subscription. We do ask that instead of cancelling, you consider gifting or selling your membership to a friend who would love getting fresh flowers weekly.
Finally, we are a business who believes in equality and diversity. If any CSA member's behavior towards our owner or staff is deemed abusive or inappropriate, their CSA Membership will be cancelled without refund.
Many thanks! We are excited to share our flowers with you!
